Q - What are your business hours/when can I contact you?

We're available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm PST.  If for some reason you get voicemail, please leave a message and a representative will get back to you very shortly.  We try to be very flexible and even return calls on the weekend!  Like we mentioned, we promise to give you the very best customer service experience possible.

Q - How many different Modern Arcade Machines do you manufacture?

We have three main types of machines.  We are currently researching a fourth product.  Details aren't yet available, however, it will be a laptop-sized, ultra portable arcade machine!  Keep visiting our site for updates.

Q - Can I upgrade my Modern Arcade Machine later on?
A - Absolutely!  All of our machines are fully upgradeable.  Whether you want to change the joysticks and controls or put in a more powerful processor to run the latest arcade games 10 years down the road, all of our machines have upgrade in mind!

Q - What software platform do your Modern Arcade Machines run on?

Currently we are producing our arcade machines to run MAME32 on Windows™ XP.  Because of this you can also run all of your favorite PC games on your arcade machine!

Q - What hardware platform do your Modern Arcade Machines run on and what are the specs?

Currently we are producing our arcade machines with the following hardware which we find will run approximately 99% of the software available for MAME32 at full speed.  This will also run most new PC games with ease.

Q - Do these 1000's of arcade games you talk about come with my Modern Arcade Machine, am I buying them too?
A -
When you purchase an Modern Arcade Machine from us, you are not purchasing the games; you are purchasing a unit designed to play the games.  We will, however, provide you with over 4000 arcade games for free that you can play on your new system.

Q - Is it legal to have all of these arcade games?
A -
It is not legal to possess most newer arcade games that are readily available for purchase unless you have purchased them from the manufacturer, a retailer or obtained legal copies from us.  However, for all other games, on October 28, 2003, the Librarian of Congress, on the recommendation of the Register of Copyrights, announced the classes of works subject to the exemption from the prohibition against circumvention of technological measures that control access to copyrighted works.  One of the four classes included in this exemption were computer programs and video games distributed in formats that have become obsolete and which require the original media or hardware as a condition of access. A format shall be considered obsolete if the machine or system necessary to render perceptible a work stored in that format is no longer manufactured or is no longer reasonably available in the commercial marketplace.  Because of this exemption you can legally possess any arcade games which are no longer manufactured or are no longer reasonably available (for new purchase).  These exemptions apply to approximately 97% of all the arcade games our arcade systems are designed to play.  These exemptions will remain in effect through October 27, 2006.

Q - What if something breaks, do I get a warranty?

Q - Wow, I was a kid in the 80's and it's hard to imagine having my very own arcade machine in my house with almost every 80's game!  Won't I get addicted to playing???

YES!!!  But don't worry, there is help out there, so it's ok!  Visit this link if you think you need HELP!

Q - Do the coin slots and coin door on the M3 Arcade machine really work?
A -
Absolutely!!!  You can choose to use quarters or tokens to put the credits in each of your games or you can just use a button if you think the coin door is a bother.  If you have kids, a really cool way to get them to clean up and do their homework is to only enable the coin door (no credit button).  That way if they finish their school work you can reward them with some game play tokens.  WHAT A MOTIVATOR!!!  Another fun idea is to use only quarters in the machine and at the end of the year use the accumulated money to go on a family trip!  The coin door is fully lockable.

Q - Do the photos represent the exact Modern Arcade Machine that I will get when ordering?

Slight variations may occur since we are constantly trying to improve products.  We will contact you regarding marquee design, button and joystick color, etc., so your color and graphic selections will always be exactly what you want.

Q - How soon after I order will I get my Modern Arcade Machine?
A -
We attempt to fulfill orders immediately however sometimes our completed arcade machine stock varies.  Typically it will be 1-2 weeks before your machine will ship.  After you place your order, we will immediately contact you to let you know a ship date for your arcade machine.  Custom machines may take longer and we will give you an accurate estimate on the completion date.  Typically most projects are completed within two weeks.

Q - What payment types do you accept?

We accept PayPal™, Visa™, Mastercard™, American Express™, Discover™, JCB™ and Diners™ credit cards as well as checks through our website.  We also accept Money Orders, Personal Checks or Cashiers Checks which can be mailed to us.  (Please allow an extra 10 business days for personal checks to clear.)  You can find our mailing address HERE.

Q - When do I have to make payment?

Payment for products is required in full before shipping your arcade machine or starting your custom project.

Q - How do you handle shipping, how much is it?
A -
Shipping is usually done through UPS or DHL unless you purchase our M3 model.  All M3 models must ship via freight because of the additional size and weight.  Shipping anywhere in the continental USA is as follows.
M1 - $150.00 
M2 - $160.00 
M3 - $350.00. 
We don't charge any additional above the standard shipping and packing charges, in fact since we're a large shipper of arcade machines we get you the best discounted rate!  Southern California residents, delivery is FREE within a 150 mile radius of zip code 92160!

Q - What if I am not satisfied with my Modern Arcade Machine when I receive it?

We have never had an unsatisfied customer.  We do not offer any refunds, returns or exchanges, however, we do everything we can to ensure you will love your arcade machine even before we ship it!  Before you sign for your arcade machine upon delivery, please inspect the package to make sure there is no damage.  You must file a damage claim immediately upon receiving the item, even BEFORE you sign for it, or you will not be able to file a damage claim.  Once you get the machine, we will do everything we can to help you with any questions you may have about it.  Before being shipped, your machine goes through a series of tests to make sure it is working properly.  We also stand back and admire what a work of art it is!  We're confident you'll do the same and be satisfied with the quality of your machine.  Of course, in the rare event that something were to break or go wrong, please review our warranty information HERE.

Q - What if my Modern Arcade Machine is damaged by the shipping company?

YOU MUST inspect the package BEFORE signing for it.  The carrier HAS to wait for you, so please take 5 minutes and look it over VERY carefully.  It must not have ANY visual damage on the outside of the packaging.  If you sign for it and don't report damage until after the carrier has left the delivery location, you will not be eligible for any damage claims or refunds.
